Re & Jon’s Wedding, Caswell House, Oxford – 5th April 2012.

On the Thursday 5th April 2011 we met up with Re and Jon to cover their wedding day at Caswell House, Oxford. The weather was looking a bit scary up north with the snow closing motorways and weather warnings forecast for down south. Luckily on the day it was overcast but dry all day which was a bonus 🙂

Re and Jon organised the day perfectly so everything flowed smoothly, it was very personalized with lots of cool details and we were happy to be a part of it.

It all started at Caswell House in Oxford.

A nice chillled out morning before heading to the venue.

We match the time within our cameras so as Paul is at breakfast with the guys, I’m just finishing shooting at the hairdressers.

Continental breakfast gets everyone ready for the day ahead, with champagne of course.

After breakfast, Jon passed out gifts to his boys which were personalised cufflinks. He got some cool bicycle cufflinks for his brother. Jon and his brother are both big cyclists and the theme was echoed throughout the day. Jons Paul Smith cuffs were indeed “the dogs” 🙂

Re had some lovely gifts for her parent to say thanks for being great 🙂

With plenty of time until the ceremony, everyone could relax a little which was nice.

Whilst the ladies were relaxing, Paul was shooting the guys getting in suits.

Whilst the girls relaxed I nipped upstairs to shoot the dress, shoes and details. The walkietalkies helped keep everything on track.Caswell House

Re’s attention to detail was even added to her shoes.

With Re just waiting to put her dress on, she was helping her bridesmaid and dad with final tweaks.

Paul was outside shooting the boys only yards away from Re 🙂 We had an usher let her know we were coming past so she didnt get a sneaky peek of Jon

The biking details went throughout the day with this vintage beauty, sturmey archer hub gears. Jon had a quick spin on the old girl but it was mainly for directing guests to the ceromony room.

We finished the day with a photobooth and a night shot of the venue. We loved shooting this wedding, everyone had a good time and it shows in our photographs.

To view a slideshow of the day click here, this is something we put together on the day ready for the evening reception. Not fully edited but enough to see how the day went and evening guests to see the full day.
