Just after Christmas we had the pleasure of photographing Fi and Andy’s Merchants Adventurers Hall Wedding in York. When I got to Fi’s house, everyone was chilling out and trying to complete a crossword in the paper. Super relaxed 🙂
At Paul’s end with Andy, things were a little more hectic with a list of jobs to get done. Taking the cake to the venue was number 1 on the list.Whilst the guys delivered the cake, the girls and guy (Fi’s bestman,) cracked open the champagne. We love the flowers chosen by Fi and Andy, some fantastic colours. With the guys ready, Paul got a few portraits on the way to the Merchants Adventurers Hall. One of my favourite prep shots.I really like this shot of Fi and Andy’s friend playing guitar after the ceremony. With it being pitch black outside and freezing cold, we set up some flashes for some indoor group shots. We were please that Andy and Fi were game for heading outside, even in the dark you can get some great shots. Then inside with the flashes for some relaxed, and much warmer photographs.Like myself, Fi and Andy are keen mountain bikers. This is their awesome table planner, a map of Dalby Forest with each table a different section of the red route. We shot their pre-wedding at Dalby before going to a ride, you can check that out here.Home made cake from Andy’s family 🙂The speeches went down a treat with some familiar faces in the crowds. After the first dance we set up a photo booth to keep everyone entertained between dancing sessions 🙂
It was a brilliant day, Andy and Fi are an amazing couple. To check out more photographs from the day, check out their on the day slideshow below.
